With over 35 years of experience in the fields of law, finance and business management, healthcare and the healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, Osagie is a co-founder of PIPV Capital, a Private Equity Firm that is focused on the Life Sciences vertical and has invested over $1 Billion in institutional money. Prior to co-founding PIPV Capital, he established GlaxoSmithKline Ventures and was its founding Vice President. Osagie has held senior commercial and R&D positions within pharmaceutical companies such as GSK, SmithKline, DuPont Merck and Endo. He has also been a Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance Partner as well as a practicing attorney with a leading US Law Firm, Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis. Osagie is a serial entrepreneur and investor and serves as Chairman and Founder of Ibere Pharmaceuticals (NYSE:IBER) and Zelira Therapeutics (ASX:ZLD). He also serves on the Board of a number of financial institutions such as FS-KKR Capital Corp. (NYSE: FSK), Haverford Trust and Beltraith/StoneRidge Investment, institutions that cumulatively manage over $28 Billion. Osagie is a Trustee of the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Executive Committee of the University, and is also the Chairman of the Board of the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he is an Adjunct Professor of Intellectual Property.

Osagie holds LLM degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, and is a member of the New York State Bar in addition to other Bars.

Felix I. Odigie

Felix, an intrepid and highly experienced entrepreneur, has been managing and leading teams in the financial and technology sectors for over 15 years. As the general partner at Quoin Capital, he is dedicated to increasing Quoin’s footprint and reach globally, especially in the Americas and Africa by providing access to unique instruments and resources they may not find elsewhere. He is a Managing Partner at Cedros Capital, LLC, providing entrepreneurs and business owners with a compelling combination of capital, financial flexibility and managerial expertise. Felix has years of technology experience that includes Sr. Technology Integration executive at Citizens Bank, a managing consultant at TEKsystems, and at TUFTS, where he managed the technology and engineering group.

Felix holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science from Northeastern University, along with an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.

Dr. Odumosu is the Chief Executive Officer of Zelira Therapeutics (ASX: ZLD, OTCQB: ZLDAF) and brings more than a decade of biopharmaceutical expertise in organization leadership, business development, scientific and clinical research, product development, regulatory approval, business operations, global commercialization and licensing including strategic alliance management. Dr. Odumosu is also a notable World Bank Institute Certified public health professional with global healthcare translational/clinical/epidemiological research and data management expertise. Prior to joining Zelira, he was the founding Chief Operating officer at Ilera Healthcare. Recently Dr. Odumosu was named to the board of the National Cannabis Roundtable, which promotes common sense federal regulation, tax equality and financial services reform and supports changing federal to acknowledge states rights to regulate and manage cannabis policy.

Dr. Odumosu earned his PhD in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Public Health-Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and School of Public Health, and a BS in Biology from Calvin College, Michigan.

Maceo Davis established Quoin Capital in 2005 and has more than 35 years of experience in investments and public service, including with the City of Philadelphia. His career began in global banking at Citibank and he has a track record of trading stocks and bonds. Maceo is a highly experienced entrepreneur who has promoted and arranged trade and investment projects in several Middle Eastern and African countries.

Maceo earned a BA in Mathematics from Lincoln University and an MBA in Finance & International Business from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He holds FINRA licenses Series 7, 63, 55, 24, 53, 79 and 28.

As the founder of multiple financial services companies, JT is an expert in compliance and operations management with more than 25 years of experience in retail and institutional sales, and corporate and municipal underwriting.

In 2011, JT founded Ibis Compliance & Financial Services, where he currently consults and contracts his many years of compliance and supervisor services to several brokers/dealers, introducing brokers and RIAs. In previous work, JT is also a co-founder of Morgan Wilshire Securities (1998), where he helped establish and train the firm’s sales force; IFS Securities (2006), an independent minority-owned Broker/Dealer in Atlanta, Georgia; SB Advisory, LLC. (2009), a state-registered RIA; and San Blas Securities, LLC (2018), a full-service Broker/Dealer, whose platform includes Capital Markets and an Advisor Network.

At Quoin, JT’s mission is to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements relating to the firm's business, leveraging his expertise in liaising with  FINRA, the SEC, the NFA, and State regulatory boards. He holds many FINRA licenses, including Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 34, 53, 63, 65 and 99.

He also is a proud Morehouse College alumnus.

Jack is a passionate and highly experienced professional across the agribusiness industries of frontier markets, particularly West Africa. He serves as CFO of DSN Enterprises, LLC – a Venture Capital company based in Pennsylvania, USA. Jack co-founded and is leading the operations of Agrifa International Ltd, an Agro-Allied company based in Nigeria, by spearheading farm production activities, product quality and uniformity, and by managing the achievement of daily production targets. He previously founded and managed Jasmine Farms SARL, a fully integrated agricultural company based
in Cameroon.

Prior to focusing on the Agro-Allied space, Jack worked in the Investment Banking Groups of Wells Fargo & Co and of Bank of Montreal, managing over $90B in capital markets transactions and leading Mergers & Acquisitions deals across the software, financial technology and educational technology industries.

Jay leads Quoin Capital’s execution team and is focused on providing our clients world-class execution of their specific transactions and needs. Jay also founded Embarc Advisors and has nearly 20 years of experience in strategic finance. Jay is former Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Vice President and McKinsey & Company Engagement Manager. He has completed over $50 billion in transactions including marquee transactions such as the sale of Yahoo, MuleSoft and SanDisk. He currently works with startups as a fractional CFO or advises them as a consultant. Most recently, he has successfully advised on capital raises for several startups – including during the COVID-19 crisis. He also co-founded a technology startup that raised capital from Softbank and other VCs.

Jay received an MBA from Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Malcolmn Pryor, Sr. has spent more than 30 years in the Financial Services Industry as a Senior Executive. He began his career in fixed income sales at Goldman Sachs in 1972. He has been a Member of the Chicago Board of Trade, The New York Coffee and Cocoa Exchange and a Market Maker with the Philadelphia Options Exchange. Malcolmn founded Pryor, Counts & Co., which led financings in the Municipal Bond Industry and Senior Managed transactions in Infrastructure, Housing, Transportation, Utilities and Development projects in varying amounts. The firm also underwrote and structured transactions for international entities and invested in projects in the financial services in West and Southern Africa. Mr. Pryor was CEO of an Enterprise Fund sponsored by USAID in Southern Africa.

Ava Watkins founded the Alternative Asset Group, a third-party marketing business focused on raising assets in the alternative space and heads the Alternative Asset Group. Clients include a variety of single-manager hedge funds, fund of hedge funds, private equity and venture, as well as a feeder fund which allows access to some of the biggest names in the business with lower minimum investments. Ms. Watkins began her career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, and later joined Tremont Partners where she marketed alternative asset managers before founding her own business.

Ava is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds FINRA licenses Series 7 and 63.

James D. Hill is a St Louis based investment banker who has extensive investment banking experience. He started his finance career at A. G. Edwards & Sons as a retail stockbroker. He went on the public finance side of the business by working for Toussaint Capital Partners, LLC, Grigsby & Associates, and Great Pacific Securites. He graduated from St Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. Mr. Hill has utilized his relationships to assist with city development projects between 2017-2019. Although Mr. Hill did not have his licenses registered with a broker dealer during this period because his position did not permit it due to city mandates, Mr. Hill did continue to work with all entities in which he serviced during his registration. All of Mr. Hill’s relationships consist of city government offices and institutions and his current primary business as a registered individual will consist of further developing these relationships in public finance. Mr. Hill has not removed himself from the financial industry as noted his position between the period of 2017-2019 did not require registration as he was a salaried employee who did not collect commission.

Brian Hannon began his career in the chemicals industry at the Dupont Company where he held various positions in research & development, and corporate finance. Brian made the transition to the investment management profession in 1992 at the DuPont Pension Fund and has since worked with ASB Capital Management,and with Macquarie Investments (formerly Delaware Investment Management) on their institutional large-cap value team. Prior to assuming his current role at Quoin Capital, LLC, Brian founded Qubit Investments, LLC and later became the Director of Equity Research at Sturdivant & Co.

Brian holds a BS degree in chemical engineering and a BS in economics from Carnegie-Mellon University and has been a CFA charter holder since 1991.

Christina Surowiec is an experienced macroeconomist and policy analyst and is the editor of the Quoin Insights Research publications. She has been producing analysis and written work for clients including business/finance, government, academia and NGOs since mid-2001. Christina’s key focus areas are the intersection of governance, regulation, and public finance; energy issues and markets; and prospects for sustainable international development, particularly in Africa.

Christina holds a master’s degree in policy analysis, with a concentration in environmental policy, from Johns Hopkins University.
